Kulliyyah of Education (KOED) of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is now offering its Master of Education programme by delivering the courses during school holidays in addition to its normal offering for fully residential students. To enable a smooth running of this offering, KOED has been mandated by the IIUM Senate to manage the programme in collaboration with IIUM Academy of Graduate & Professional Studies (ACADEMY).

ENTRY & LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
CGPA of 2.75 in Bachelor of Education
OR
CGPA of 2.75 in a bachelor's degree of any field together with a Diploma in Education
AND
An English proficiency level evidenced by one of the following:
TOEFL score of 550
IELTS score at band 6
NOTES
If grading is not CGPA-based, the equivalent score is considered.
A CGPA that is less than 2.75 may be backed up with with relevant working experience.
Those with neither TOEFL or IELTS, may sit for IIUM's English Proficiency Test (EPT) after registration to determine their proficiency level.
Yes, provided you meet one of the following requirements:
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Education, OR
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any field accompanied by a Diploma in Education.
Classes are conducted physically during selected school holiday weeks.
Yes, teaching experience is one of the primary qualifications required for admission to this programme.
This programme is specifically designed to cater to working adults, with a primary focus on educators.
Yes, lecturers can apply as long as they meet the eligibility requirements and can attend classes during school holidays.
Yes, this programme is eligible for PTPTN loans. Other than education loans, EPF also can be used, as well as other scholarships.
Alternative arrangements may be provided depending on the situation.
The programme is conducted in English.
Yes, students will attend language classes concurrently with other classes.
A minimum of Band 7 is required for TESL.

- Registration Fee (First Semester Only) : RM 2,090.00

The programme consists of 6 semesters (4 long semesters and 2 short semesters), equivalent to 2 academic years.
A minimum CGPA of 3.0, OR CGPA 2.75 with relevant work experience.
